Hi Guys,



I installed my boost gauge today, really happy with it:

• Went from vaccum line from fuel pressure regulator,
• Used a spare bung in the firewall behind the intercooler with a coat hanger (didnt need to remove the IC)

I dont know if it was uncalibrated or you were reving during the pic, but your gauge reading is way off(-5 at idle is not right). Or at least I hope its the gauge....

Also I'm not sure of the spot you tee'd into, but most use the BPV line.

I recommend never branching the line to the fuel pressure regulator. That item is sort of important . If the FPR doesn't get the correct pressure, your motor WILL go boom (shalocka-locka-boom).

A while ago, there was a performance shop/company (maybe it was Perrin?) that traced a majority of their blown '08s to failed FPRs. I was surprised it was never brought back up.


To the OP, i didn't get a chance to look at the firewall, but when you fished the line through, you didn't have to remove the dash to get to it, did you?

No problem will move it to the bov line.
