Default Replacing Pistons?

Hi everybody. I just **** a piston on my 06 sti. I have not done any modifications to the engine internals but plan on doing all the maintenance myself. Ive never done anything this big so Im kinda nervous about ripping my engine apart. If anybody has any tips on taking it apart and replacing pistons I would be ever so grateful. Im a decent mechanic just never done it on a subaru. Thanks again!

Just built mine. Use a service manual and use a good machine shop and you will be fine.

one more thing, all I have is a 2002 manual to work with. is this going to be a forseeable problem?
