Again, I'm sorry. What I meant to say was that the catch can I put between the PCV vent-to-intake-manifold is catching the most oil.
anyway you could post a picture of this catch can and highlight the routing of the hose? this would save me a TON of time in my research.

I will try to see if I have a picture. I am parting out my car so it's not there anymore

But if you know where your PCV valve is, it's the little hose that goes from it into the intake manifold, right under the throttle body. I'll look for pics.

pics would be great!!! so basically you run hose from the PCV valve to the catch can inlet and from the catch can outlet to the throttle body?

wait is it: PCV>inlet>outlet>throttle body OR
throttle body>inlet>outlet>PCV?

What does everything think of plumbing the head vents just straight back into the crankcase, then venting the crankcase to the turbo inlet via a catch can? That way under high Gs if the oil comes out the heads, it will go back to the crankcase.

The head vents are already more or less vented to the crankcase via the hoses that are directly behind the head vent hoses, though I don't believe this is supposed to be an oil return type of system. My own system has done better since I freed up the head vents to be able to flow both ways again. I'd keep it separate.

Yeah I was thinking of it just incase something goes wrong, like haened to me once before under sustained full throttle high G cornering, all the oil went out the head into the inlet and got burned, causing no oil in the crankcase plus detonation.

How did you change your set up?

I simply have the head vents running through a catch can and back to the turbo inlet. It's the crankcase side where I have something different. I deleted the PCV valve and use a specific one way valve instead that augments vacuum. That line is also run through the catch can and back to the turbo inlet.

Man it's so confusing trying to figure out what to do with the oil breather system, so many options and different opinions!

I'll continue the research I guess

Yes exactly, you have the right idea.

now was this more easily mounted on the driver or passenger side? ... i really need to just find a diagram. but this is infinitely easier than staring at some jpeg
