Default Change buzzer module *chirp*

Prolly an overkill how to, but meh

Tools needed:

Take the flathead screwdriver and press on each of those clips.

Insert the flathead screwdriver behind the grill and press on this clip, one each side.

Pull out the grill.

Take the ratchet and the 10mm socket and remove the only bolt connecting the buzzer module.

Press on this clip and remove the buzzer.

Put everything back togheter and you have yourself and new working BUZZER! *chirp* *chirp*

Default it coudl kill your battery

Unplug the buzzer if you know it's bad.

The buzzer is on constant power when car is locked.

It could kill your battery if it goes dead with a closed circuit.

It happened to my car and cost a battery and quite some head scratching.

I don't think replacing the module for $35 is worth it. I'll have the beep for two weeks then it will be gone, rofl.

Oh Well, great How To though.

Is this the shift-point buzzer? Mine stopped working after I removed the alarm horn...not sure if the two are connected > maybe mine just went bunk?

mine decides when it wants to work, sometimes it will most of the time it wont.
Wont hurt anything to just leave it unplugged?
