How do you install the Front "i" Emblem?

I've done some searching and never found a definitive set of instructions. I want to take the Suburu emblem off and put the "i" emblem on. I heard you have to heat it up then it just pops off. I ran a blow dryer on high for like 5 minutes and tried poppin it off and all i did was make 2 screwdriver marks in the black plastic. It looks like there might be 1 clip in the back but i cant get to it cause of the grill. Do i need to break the clip behind the stock emblem then heat it up and remove it?

if you are talking about the front badge then there is no clip back there. It is held on by double-sided tape. Heat it up and pry it off, key is to get the screw driver between the badge and the black plastic trim. Maybe move the hair dryer in a different angel and turn it up to a higher setting.

Install is the same, peel the double sided tape protective layer off, make sure you clean the backing with alcohol and remove all residue, then put it on and apply pressure.

k i wasnt sure cause when i look behind it looked like 1 circular clip. i'm gunna attempt it again here.

step 1. remove from package
step 2. throw in trash.

step 3. leave stock badge on or paint it a different color

step 4. ????
step 5. profit.

hey thanks.. came off quite nicely. i just left it propped up and left the dryer on for about 5 minutes.
