Yeah, How are these little metal clips supposed to connect to my factory harness on the PE850's?

I just finished a complete install. Dom 1, APS DR525, Perrin Inlet, Perrin Fuel rails, APS 65 CAI, Tein Mono Flex. Crawford Air'oil seperator. Couldnt take any pictures as the camera pooped the bed about 2 weeks ago but let me tall you what a pain in the tailpipe this was. words of advice. If anybody needs the pdf for intake mainfold removal let me know. YOU MUST FOLLOW IT TO THE TEE or you will be in a world of hurt. The illustrations are not museum quality but it will give you a good idea. MARK ALL OF YOUR HOSES/ELEC CONNECTS. Use some masking tape on female and male ends. Don't worry about names, use a number system. put a "1" on the male and female connectors/lines that go together. That way its 1to1, 2 to 2, ect...
Don't get antsy and take your time. Getting the manifold off is the hardest part. It's easy peasy after that. I didn't have the luxury of a garage. Gravel driveway with about a 5% up slope. Me and the STi have a very, very special relationship now....I will offer advice and answerquestions to the best of my ability. This is not for the faint at heart. If this is the only mod you are doing, give yourself a weekend (uninterupted) to be thorough. I am an aircraft mechanic and I was left wondering at times who the hell I thought I was doing this by myself......

Did you use the thread for the intake removal in the "how-to" or a different one? I will be removing mine for TGV's and spacers but I'm waiting until I get the cash for a DR525 for my FPGreen install.

I used the 04 Service manual. When you get the DR525 if you have the xtra cash, get the perrin T-bolt clamps, use them at least for your connections that are in the bumper/fender, bit of warning too about how much bumper you have to cut. For some reason I to cut ALOT of the fender well liner for the fit. Just make sure you secure the rest so it doesnt come out and get caught by the wheel. I got my driver side snatched clean off coming in the driveway.

Ok, I have an '05 service manual on cdrom I got from ebay. Did you have to drill additional holes and use more body clips or screws and bolts to secure it better? I was planning on using T-bolts everywhere from what I heard about hoses blowing off.

nah...not unless you are putting a lip in. If Ihadnt had to put those fuel rails on, I would've had tha dr525 in in a day maybe two. The fit is awesome. The only issue was the silicone elbow coming from the passenger side fender. Make sure it is seated all the way on both pipes. That biotch blew off on my first test drive and scared the hell outta me. If you need anything else drop me a line.
