Default Broken Drivers Side Mat Hook

***SORRY NO PICS I DID IT QUICK***

Okay I found a temporary fix that seems to be working mighty fine.

The floor hook has a snap clip on the bottom, take a flathead screwdriver and seperate it as much as possible, the push the tab that secures the clip in place throught the whole. Viola it's open!

Remove the side sil, then on the trunk release there is two screws, one at the top under the handle (Black) and one at the bottom under the little door that you must lift with a flathead screwdriver (gold). Undo these two screws with a philips screwdriver and lift the carpet over and around.

Attach tightly however you see fit a decent size in length piece of string or wire to the snap clip. Then stick the dangling snap clip attached to the hook through the hole and push it all the way through till the hook lays flat and is flush with the carpet. Tie the string to the three black pipes running along the side sil. Take up all the slack, now the hook wont move anymore. Put everything back together and attach your drivers mat again. Now the chance of sodomizing another car with your front end is now non-existent

Way to be inventive.

I need to figure out a way to keep my OEM all weather rubber mats from sliding up...
