Default STi Pink Oil Filter

Hi guys,
I've bought a STi pink oil filter.

On the filter is written to tighten 1-1/6 turns after gasket makes contact.
Does it mean I have to tighten it 1+1/6 turns? I'm afraid to overtighten it, the stock filter goes maximum to 3/4 of turn. Please give me advice...
thanks

Tighten it however you would normally tighten a filter..which means not too tight..

Alright, I'll bite. How much extra did you have to pay for STI pink oil filters?

paying 14 dollars more for a filter doesn't seem reasonable

Its $30 from subarugenuine. I can see it as a paper weight, but unless it works for 5-7 oil changes without changing the filter, then its a waste. I run K&N which is too pricey in my opinion, but it works just fine. Maybe its just jealousy that I won't buy that filter.

Especially when its on the underside of your car and nobody can see it. Cool to have though in your room. Haha

Holy anal JDM parts Batman!!! Reminds me of the JDM ashtray that costs $800.00.

It's an oil filter, stick it on there hand tight + quarter turn and get on with life.
