Certainly looks like a fun project. What are your plans for the headliner?

Perforated (has backing on it) could work, it does not wrap around corners as well as the non-backed alcantara. This could potentially lead to several small issues on the edges. I am sure you could figure out where to go from there though.

I need to do this bad, my hvac is all scratched up. Black looks great, I think that is what I'm going to go with as well.

Im not done, but i know you can probably do the pillars, HVAC, and everything in one go if you pulled it all apart and prepped first

I used the plastic dip and it gets nicked really easy. Thinking about pealing it of and using krylon flat black.
