What finish did you decide to go with, Krylon or Plastic Dip? I have everything off even the sliders for the seat belts and the seat belt assembly's but am still undecided on which finish to go with....

That looks like Krylon, my plasti dip is a little more matte than that and has a somewhat textured surface, but i like it alot better than a smooth paint, i think it matches the dash better

Going to the shop tomorrow to see if they make the Krylon plastic fusion in Ultra Flat or Semi-flat then I guess I will go from there. I have used the plastic-dip on my license plate delete bolt heads though and have to say that if it prepped right it stays on hella good, did them about 2ys ago and have held up through many washes and waxes and still strong and thats on the exterior.

yeah, im surprised at whoever had scratching and chipping issues.... even without much prep (see my steps at beginning of thread) im not having any issues at all other than dust collection, but every single interior piece has that and a simple wipe cleans everything away and leaves it looking awesome

The pillars were done with Rustoleum Textured Paint and center console trim is done with Plasti Dip.

How many coats of plasti-dip are you using? Some of my parts are holding up better than others. Has anyone figured out how to get the seatbelt rings? So far this has been my favorite and most cost efficient mod so far.

I did like 2 or 3 very light coats to get a base down, then a few more solid ones... i didn't pay too close attention when i did it.... im gonna try to do the vent rings and B pillars this weekend

pull from the celing out and up. ive even taken the lower (black) liner off the door. 3 plugs in all the window pillars. and the rings are easy to get out HARDER to put in straight because of the shape and curve. ONE THING should be mentioned.. the air vents located on the top of the dash for defrost are EXTREMELY hard to get out without tearing the fabric on the dash. only pieces not completely held in by clips. theres a little fabric glue. also did the back 3 plastic baby seat mounts and around the brake light.

Has anyone used fabric paint on the headliner? If so, what paint did you use, and how did it turn out (post some pics!)?

Also, I'm so torn on what paint to use.... I'm pretty sure that Plasti Dip is the way to go on the HVAC, but what about the other nasty grey trim pieces? I want something that is not shiny, and compliments the rest of the dark grey trim well.... Any opinions?
