Default Help...Touch up gold BBS wheels

My07 isn't that old, but the construction on the highways has put a long scrape on the inside of one of my gold BBS wheels.

This scrape is now encrusted with brake dust.

Does anyone know how to get the brake dust out, prep the surface, apply the touch up paint, and whatever I need over the paint to protect it?

Or should I just take it to a wheel repair shop?

Wheel cleaner and a brush should get the brake dust off.

I'm interested on a source for touchup paint.

You're thinking of brake fluid...Brakleen should be fine on paint.

Walmart sells a nice brush for a easy clean on the rims. Also I use black magic wheel cleaner on my rims. The product works well just repeat the process and it will be fine. For the gold rims you need to keep after them more than the silver. Gold had a tendency to hold the brake dust. Also buy some wheel was spray on. It works great!
