Default Ebay JDM header

Tried to install Ebay JDM header on my 04 STi. Couldn't get it to fit. Got the "up pipe" flange past the head, but the header was contacting the frame at the last bend before the four pipes meet. Just didn't seem to be enough room for it. Anyone else? Am I missing something? I knew I should of paid more than $80.

80 bucks for a header and you dont see anything wrong with that........... Just for reference a quality perrin header costs about 650.........

So you know, you typically get what you pay for. But, do you have a JDM car? Aren't they twinscroll? Could that be the problem?

by frame do you mean the U shaped subframe? you may need to just cut into that a little to gain the clearance you need.

i was thinking about getting some headers (not off ebay) do you have to cut the subframe for most of them?
