Default blow-thru boost tube

I'm going to make my own blow-thru maf and was wondering about a couple of things?
1.does the intercooler pipe have to be a curtain size?
2.can i just loop or block off all the vac lines running to the intake?
3.what is the sensor on the inner fender well behind the block off plate?

thanks in advance.

I dont have any answers to your question but just wanted to warn you to be ready for some extensive tuning....I just had my car tuned and it took nearly a week to get everything running properly with the blow thru setup....

If you are going to do it i would recommend buying the Perrin blow-through boost tube and, getting a good tune. unless your a good fabricator and have the right tools, buy the boost tube.

or you could get the maf bracket off an intake and cut the intercooler pipe so the maf can fit in that spot on the intercooler ($50 or less after silicon hose and clamps)

I think I read that the pipe diameter around the MAF has to be same as stock, or it won't read correctly... makes sense, but I'm no expert.
