Help with fog lights on 2007 STi

ok, after the dealer told me that fog lights are not available for 07 STi, i called SOA(Subaru of America) and asked them. they weren't sure, so they had to call me next day to tell me that i can't put fogs on 07 STi, they are for regular Impreza only. BS, i bought the kit for regular Impreza, and it works on STi just fine, everything is prewired.
now, my question is if someone can find me a wireing diagram of the fog lights. i want to find out where exactly they are getting the power(+12V) that comes from the head lights. i want to cut that wire and connect it to +12V that aways works with the key on(cigarete lighter or something like that), so i can have them running without the headlighs, this way i can use them for DRL insted the HIDs(which are already disconected).
hope someone has such a diagram, otherwise i'll be looking at the fog light relay and see if i can locate the +12V going to it and cut it from there

strange that they would say you can't use them with the '07 since the ltd's come stock with foggies...

yea i know that the limited comes with them. also everything is already prewired and ready to have the fogs. that's why i ordered them anyway.
thanks for the link, but looks like too much work there. i already figured it out(just did it). if i remember latter, i'll take some pictures. it's very easy mod, have to locate under the dash(if you stick your head by the pedals) a red wire with green strip that goes to the fog light relay. cut that wire. the piece that goes to the relay, extend it with extra wire and conect it to the cigarete lighter wire(i think it was the yellow with red strip). the other piece of the red/green wire must be insulated with electrical tape, to make sure that it wont touch anything(since there is +12V whenever the head lights are on). the resoult is that whenever the ignition is on, the fog lights are on, unles they are switched off with the fog light button.

its amazing how ill imformed soa and the dealers are. my 07 sti (not a limited either!) came from the port with fogs. it was a $395 option printed right on the window sticker.

Definitely, What a shame. Wish SOA was better with these issues and customer service. However, overall they are awesome and for the most part listen to their consumers.

hmm, i thought the foggies were a dealer installed option only.... shows what i know (still more than soa)

weird as it may seem, it was actually less work than what you did, and, iirc, it provided a little more/better functionality... oh wells, you got it done

Be advised that the colors of the wires are completely different for the '07...
