dunno if u will find one of those... id just start pulling stuff to be honest.

i had a brand new 2007 tundra come in to dealer with a dash rattle, it only had 5k on the odometer. i had to disassemble the entire dash and foam everything to get rid of the rattle. basically u probably jsut remove your shifter trim, possibley the plastic cover that goes arround the trans tunnel. stereo faceflate, stereo, glovebox, gauge cluster, and so on. theres probably alot of screws and bolts that are holding it on then once everything looks good it should just pull out im sure.

remember to disconnect the negative cable on the battery, because you will probably have to disconnect airbags to remove the dash completely.

now this isnt a guide obviously, but maybe it will put yoru foot into the door.

why not buy the service manual on cd or something.. that would give you good instructions... I doubt you`ll ever find anyone on here who took pics with instructions on how to remove the dash and get it back together

just leave your car how it is if your not on the track than you wont even notice a difference. Every 100 pounds loss is about .1 sec on the quarter mile removed off of your time. so i heard

Sry I don't live my life a 1/4 mile at a time .

I track the car often and I am doing more then just removing the deadning. I plan to loose around 100 lbs from the front make the car more balanced.

I would be interested in this as well, I have a gash in my dash and I will be buying a replacement down the line. So a way to remove/install would be lovely!!!!

You know what you are right, and I forgot I have access to the 04 service manual in pdf. A little digging and it's in there:

2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

16. EXTERIOR INTERIOR TRIM
19. Instrument Panel Assembly.pdf
