Default Re: Anybody has a front strutbar in STI 07?

I have the SPT front Strut tower brace in my 06 STI and it is the only bar worth getting for 06 & 07 STIs. First, it was made to fit 06 & 07 STIs, no bending of the A/C line necessary. Almost every other bar on the market requires bending (except the Whiteline bar) because they did not engineer them to fit the 06 & 07 STIs. Second, the SPT is one piece so it will not flex like the hinged bars.

Tein does not require bending; only slight relocation with factory hardware. See above...

yea the spt is the best one i've saw yet that is what i have and i love it , you can see how much more nicer it is by the way it is made, by the gussets and no little bolts holding it together... but go for the spt....

The SPT bar comes with everything you need to deal with a/c lines, but what is even better is to remove the entire a/c system. This eliminates a lot of clutter and dead weight, and increases airflow to the radiator.

Yes, due to the location of the strut towers in relation to the firewall the rear is a better choice for performance. The front is mostly for aesthetics, IMO. A front strut bar is way more useful on say an S2000.
