it really isnt to bad to do. un-connect all your hoses, slide out the old turbo inlet hose. slide the new one in and reconnect. it really doesn't matter if you break any of the nozzles sliding the old one out because after you get the perrin one in there you will never want to take it out.

take the tmic off. use some lube/grease to slip all the hoses back on.

It's easy, especially if you have small hands. But it will probably take 2 hours if it's your first time. Atleast it's no the APS inlet.

The Perrin is Silicone and the APS is aluminum. I think it's aluminum...well it's metal.

I'll tell you that I did mine this weekend I started on Sat night then continued on Sun for 11 hours.

PS I also installed perrin fuel rails, TGV deletes, 850cc injectors and the APS inlet... It was a royal PITA

Doesn't the manifold have to be removed to install a new inlet?

This bad boy can take up to 2 days depending on not having correct tools. I ended up having to cut my bpv connector on the stock turbo inlet because the hose clamp was facing the engine block. After spending a large amount of time cutting and pulling things out a day was already gone. Another problem you will run into is the bpv hose is too long and kinks up so you have to cut it then its a ***** to get it on the connector for the perrin turbo inlet. All in all I wish i paid someone to do it and I still need to get a hose clamp on the bpv for the perrin inlet

My back, legs, arms, and head all hurt.... Night!
