The HU is pretty easy. Pop off the shifter panel-by tugging. There are two bottom screws that hold the center console and the top pops right off. Then, there are screws that hold the HU.

I've never messed w/ the door panel, but I'm pretty sure theres a how to here or NASioc. GL

For the door panels, there are two screws, one behind the door handle and one in the bottom of the tray. They are hidden, pop off the covers with a flat head and then unscrew those. Use a large flathead to pry off the bottom of the door card, it's just held in by clips. Once you get the clips popped, lift up and it should release. Unplug the switches, the door handle is a little tricky - you have to slide the door handle (i can't remember which direction - I think it's to the rear) before if will come clear of the clips holding it in. There are the two rods which regulate the lock and door release - these are pretty self explanatory when you see them. the rods will come out of the door handle assembly and then you should have the entire door card off. One you do one, you'll be fine. Just take your time - you don't want to break any of the plastic clips by forcing anything.

good luck!

One point to note. On the center console piece that surrounds the HU, pull out as close as you can get to the clips (towards you) - not up it takes a good amount of force, again, be patient.

Not that it would be an issue in Florida, but for the folks in colder areas, make sure the interior is WARM before pulling the door panel. I pulled one on my old Dodge PU in the middle of winter and broke all but 3 or 4 of the clip holders on the panel. I cursed 11ty thousand times. Live and learn.

There is a thread on NASIOC as well as Scoobymods that show step by step how to take the door panels off...and there is a thread here on IWSTI about installing a radio in an 06. Super easy stuff though, GL
