Default Turbo Inlet Pipe

Is it always neccessary to remove the intake manifold to get the inlet pipe in and out?

depends which inlet you go with, if you go with the gimmick one or samco then you dont need to, APS inlet requires removing the intake manifold.

I have a perrin one.

Step 1: RIP out the stocker
Step 2: Jam wedge squeeze the new one in for an hour.

I put the Perrin T.I. on and it was a fight til the end. I did have to lift the manifold a few inches for extra clearance. Have fun.

I like the Perrin cause the black one looks almost stock the construction looks to be reliable and I have had no problems yet. I have put about 6-7k on it and works great. Not to mention I love the hearing the sound of the turbo when pulling a hill, or just rolling down the highway.
