Default How To: DIY Angled Licence Plate

So it seems like there are a lot of threads about how to get the angled license plate.

Part:
Adjustable License Plate Mounting Bracket

Tools:
-Screw driver
-Paint (Plasti Dip)

Time:
-30-45 min

Go to Autozone and buy this:

This is what you start with

Take off your front plate

Take it and paint it to keep it from rusting.
-You can clear coat it or paint it black, Plasti Dip is just what i had around.

Heres what i had after painting.

Assemble it and install it to the car

Attach your plate, adjust, and tighten the screws.

and your done

I will mod it a little so it sits lower and adding that to here.

Good writeup! I like this mod a lot better than hitting a deer and having it bend it for me! HAHAHA

It'll cost me my deductible...$500, so yeah, your way is cheaper!

BUT, I bet I'd have a cooler writeup my way!

I have that same mount but I mounted mine so that the links between mounting pieces face down insted of up, it allows me to put the plate at more of an angle than you show.

Sorry for the newb question... why?

More air forced in or "Camera" dodging... or both?
