the rocks that hit my car at 80mph everyday have done a pretty good job of bending my license plate back. The other day i hit one the size of a baseball on the freeway, hit the top of the license plate and flew about 50 feet up...I wonder who it landed on.

Because it's how they do it in Japan, and JDM is automatically better, faster, and cooler.

It's a useless mod that serves no function, i.e. "rice."

Not really. Esp. for those with FMIC's who want to stay "legal" and have a front license plate, but not sacrifice too much airflow, it is a great mod. Also, what is your definition of function? Some may consider it to function as a cosmetic mod.
