Default Horribile Ebay (Vendor) experiance!

I'm not one to complain about horrible service but a company called D1 Performance on Ebay sells front lips for 06-07 Sti's. They had a 97.4 review on Ebay so i thought they were decent, I did a "buy now" on a V-Limited lip, and payed RIGHT AWAY! through Paypal, Like 3 days later no Tracking number or any Info sent from the Vendor, Ok I'll email them I thought.

I sent like 3 emails and they all came back with a AUTO response from D1 saying sorry for the incovinence we will ship asap YADA YADA YADA..... So I contact Ebay and get the D1's Phone Number, I call them and ask for my status on the shipping?, they say "we will ship it soon in the next few days, and its a large Item and its hard to ship". I said OK your in Cali Im in oregon it wont take long right? He said yes you'll see it next week.

Okay I wait another few days, check my email and it's from D1 saying "your fog lights you ordered are cracked?? WTF!! what Fog Lights?? I ordered a LIP! I call them back and ask why they sent me that message? The guy tells me "OH I meant to say lip, your lip is cracked and a new one wont be shipped here to us till 4-6 weeks later so I will give you your money back". I said hell yeah you will! Then I said Paypal it back to me, Then D1 guy says it will take 5-7 Days to credit you back, ITS PAYPAL!, I paid the same day just refund my money right now!

I find it hard to belive that it takes that long for a Refund on PayPal? But not only was the service bad but my refund wont be here for a week! And why would some one list or sell an Item on ebay if its cracked or not in stock??? D1 Perfromance is a VERY BAD VENDOR!

3 things:
1. why you didn't buy the lip from somebody else. there is a IWSTI thread about it! Everybody is happy including me!!
06+ s204 v-limited replica polyurethane lip ebay $155 shipped!
2. I have a lot of stuff bought from ebay! Look for feedback (like you did) and if you find any negative ones read them!
3. I hope everthing will work out for you and when you get your money back just give another ebay try with baysonr
good luck

oh yeah... give him a review for all that BS hassle!

Assholes are giving me the hardest time for a return on a "Bolt on CBE" ... they dont tell you you need the down pipe to fit....false advertising.

I do a lot of eBay shopping and over the years I have learned what to look out for. I rarely ever get burned (knock on wood) and I only try to buy new or used name brand parts only. I bought one of the eBay lips and mine had a few hairline imperfections but it was nothing that a little sandpaper and scotch brite pads couldn't take care of. From what I hear from others that have lips, it's only a matter of time before you scrape the piss out of it anyway, so why not buy cheap. As someone said earlier, search for the thread about the eBay lips and figure out which seller they used. Chances are the same seller is still offering them. Sorry to hear about your misfortune and good luck.
