Thourghts on this turbo RS

eBay Motors: Subaru : Impreza (item 140210764371 end time Mar-03-08 18:29:20 PST)

Anyone have info on this RS? Exterior is a bit beat up and interior doesn't look too good especially the seats. It has a buy it now price of $6k and the mileage isn't too high.

Can anyone tell what kind of engine it is? It has the STi intercooler but I can't tell if it's a WRX engine or maybe an older version STi swap. Opinions, advice, thoughts appreciated. Thanks

I forgot to add that it would be a rallycross car so I don't mind if it's a little beat up, as long as the engine runs well and seems okay.

I'd buy it and drive it at night so my friends couldnt see me,.... that Subie reminds me of a fatty I used to date, fun to ride but embarassing when seen in public together!

Says 2.5 in the top section for details. Yet it has Spark plug wires like the RS's do. Also, the intake hose from the filter looks like it goes to the intercooler...

Exactly. Like the owner added a IC to look cool, event though it is NA.

Okay that is really lame. I just couldn't tell if it actually had a turbo or not. I didn't realize people put IC's on N/A cars just to look cool so I'll pass on this one.

hahahahhahahahahahahahha, that car is all over nasioc everyones ripping on it. that isnt turboed bro...

Sidenote. You should look into subaurs more, its very very obvious it isn't. With the knowledge of subarus you've shown us now it doesn't seem like you have much/any. I wouldnt like to see you get ripped off buying an NA car that you think is turbo, or a broken up car.

Wow. Just Wow... It's intercooled, or pre-cooled I guess. That's a freaking trip. I wonder how much faster it would be if you took the intercooler off... I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore....
