Does anyone know if by having this replacement, and if it rains, would it be hazardous to the engine? Otherwise, it looks nice.

u should not use this if you still have a top mount, because not enough air will flow into it ... this is mainly for cars with front mounts that dont want the hood scoop ... sleeperish

My point exactly, since the intercooler is out of the way, and if rain or water seeps thru on top of the engine bay, would that still be okay for the car?

i don't think there would be a problem , because with the stocker if you take a hose and blow it right in, it just seeps through the holes in the intercooler and makes its way down ... the car runs after that... + there arnt much electronical components around that area, the fuse box is way on the right with the battery and the intake is on the left front ... i see no problem.

IM not a pro so don't take my word for it

you can still purchase it through his store. he used to sell painted ones so send him a message and maybe he will have them instead of aluminum.
