The ACT clutches are very good clutches. I have spent a lot of time in cars with both types of clutches. IMO the Exedy clutch is more geared towards the stock turbo STI, with a softer engagement, better pedal feel, etc. whereas the ACT is great for the "step up" turbos, such as RR500, FP Green, etc as it holds more power at the expense of sharper engagement and stiffer pedal feel.
