The Helix V3 downpipe incorporates all the popular features of the V2 downpipe with the addition of an external wastegate provision. This provision allows for external wastegate gases to be vented back into the downpipe. Helix also re-designed the bellmouth to reduce production costs without sacrificing the SS304 mandrel tubing, high quality TIG welding, etc. The end result is a better downpipe at a lower price.

have any of your customers installed any of these headers on their 06 wrx/sti? i heard that the positioning of the oil filter mount have something to do with the fitment issues? can it be corrected easily if it is required?

*hey b0oSt1n FWIW i've used the gruppe-s headers (uncoated) on my '05 sti, which i think is pretty much the same as the '06 (correct me if i'm wrong) and the headers fit GREAT!. my friend who's been building subies for over 6 years sold his APS equal lenghts for the Gruppe-s unequals and he builds all APS - so that should say something about the quality of the gruppe-s headers. only thing i had to cut was the front subframe, and i only cut out about 1"x 1.5" curve, that took about five minutes.

Gruppe-s rocks, and they have exceptional customer service.

dubrexer - We have had the Helix Version 3 DP for sometime now and it is fitted with the flange for EWG, $199 shipped. The EWG Uppipe coming soon.
