man...those forged Weds TC105N in 18x8 and only weighing like 16lbs.... amazing (even at $1750. If only there were more colors to choose from. :-(

According to the Weds Japan site, the 17x8 weigh 6.75 kgs which works out to about 14.88 lbs .

How do the TC105Ns compared to Volks CE28Ns in terms of weight and price difference in the 17X8? Also, I'm looking to get the most ideal offset with either wheel choice.

Hey Todd,

The CE28Ns are a good deal more expensive ($450+ more for the set). They're a bit lighter (and I'm guessing stronger) than the Weds. This listed offset for the Weds is listed. The ideal offset for the Volks is +44 in that size.

I didn't think the 17X8 came in +44. I thought only the 17X8.5 came in +44. Correct me if I'm wrong.
