Default 265 Star Specs fender roll?

Very excited as I just ordered my summer tires Dunlop Star Specs 265/35-18s! Still on factory BBS wheels as I cant justify nice wheels when the roads here are the way they are. I have Cusco coilovers and Im thinking that I will have to roll my fenders so they dont rub. Has anyone else thats lowered had to roll their fenders when fitting this size tire? What methods did you use to roll them? Thanks

I have 265 star specs on 9 inch wide +42 rotas. I have RCE springs (5mm lower) and rolled fenders and I still get a little rubbing when I have 4 people in the car.

Yeah for sure... Your problem is not your suspension set-up, but your wheel offset ! With 9'' wide you need at least +49 to +56mm offset to fit a 265 and you have only +42mm... Your problem is there bro !

Alright tires came in and they are HUGE! They are at work waiting to be installed. I saw tire rack has a tool to roll the fenders, But I have heard that you can use a small mallet or have even heard use a baseball bat! Anybody try these ways?

I used a bat on a CRX and the rolling tool on my old 02 WRX both work but i say mount up one tire and boly in on the rear to see if it may rub.

If you're going to roll, then at least do it right! You can rent a professional fender rolling kit from RollYourFender.Com - Home - Fast, Easy, & Affordable Professional Fender Lip Roller Rental. It includes a heat gun - this is key to not chipping paint. I used this on my WRX back in the day (pre-STi) and it was flawless. You just have to take your time.

Recommend renting one and then sharing it around in your area to offset the cost before sending it back.

I have 18x9" CE28Ns (+50mm) with 265/35/18 Bridgestone RE-11s lowered on Swift springs without any rubbing, and it doesn't even look like it comes close. Since you're using the stock BBS wheels, I would mount the wheels and check clearance first before you roll the fenders.

Alright I got them mounted and balenced last night and they look perfect. I put my coilovers at full stiff (WI Roads are some of the worst in the country!) No rub on the way home last night. My car is raised a little from last year due to winter so I shouldnt have to roll untill I go lower. Thanks for the help all! Love my new summer set up
