Default Stock 08 Tires

Weather is better, so I took the winter set off and put my stock bbs wheels/tires back on...IDK if its just me or what...but feels like on the roads the car is wanting to go its own way to one side when hold wheel straight

I wasnt sure if they are "directional" tires, like my all seasons so I mounted them on random corners since I forgot to mark them with what corner they came off of . Will this be an issue for me?

No they are good to go either direction, what matters more is the 'outside' and 'inside'.

I knew of the outside/inside markings, guess its probably just gonna take some time to adjust back to these tires compared to my allseason setup where the ride was sooo smooth and quiet. So far, I have roughly 10k on the stock tires.

Was looking to buy some new wheel/tires for summer but with an upcoming deployment, I'll wait til I get back.

You can also try to deflate the tire completely and re-inflate it. Like some people do with their old soccer balls.

You're probably experiencing tramlining. I always find it much more noticeable after swapping winter wheels to summer wheels. The wider tires like to follow the grooves in the pavement.

Depending on the state you live in, if you live in a state where you get alot of rain like portland oregon for instance(where I live) they slightly curve the road so the rain goes to the sides, this is the reason why my car does this.

so reading this thread u guys said the stock tires arent rotational? i know about the inside/outside thing but the tires look rotational just from the tread on them, but any insight on this would be helpful as im about to put my summers back on too.

Yea, thats what confused me cuz when I put all the tires side by side...the tread pattern are in same direction, then when I put them on...one side of car has the pattern going opposite of other side

In the end, think it was just me getting a feel for the stock tires again since I've been on winter setup for last few months

Did you have them all facing the same way (as in, all of the rims facing the same way)? If so, it'd make sense that it swaps once on the car since you turned two of them around.
