Tell whoever is filming to flip into landscape, haha

Coilovers make a huge difference on takeoff. People really underestimate them. I'm 8k/8k square. It's a great autox setup, but it's not the best as a DD. I would definitely go softer in the front next time. I also went back to stock bars. The aftermarket bars just weren't letting the coilovers function on their own.

It was the GF, cant complain though, should have told her.

Thanks for the advice, I'm not too worried about comfortable daily driving, only have to drive around the corner to work. Then drive to trackdays up to 3-4hrs every couple of months. My car is quite stiff with the anti roll bars and bracing, quite often lifts a wheel turning into driveways and slower turns etc.., however unless you get the weigh balance right it understeers a bit.

I had a look at the Emtron logs and found on my fastest run that I was spinning in first bouncing off the rev limiter for about 1.5 seconds, meaning I should have changed earlier to get a faster time. (Note to self: look at logs while competing not only afterwards!)

Sorting a few things from the Drag Wars. Had a small drip from the oil filter when oil was up to temperature, so took off the sandwich plate and put a new thicker o-ring in there, hasn't dripped again so far, still have to test with oil really hot.

Also managed to run over part of my right side front wheel arch inner, at the end of the final drag race, so rather than replacing it I am getting an alloy sheet duct made to attach to the bottom of the oil cooler. Scheduled for Monday, hopefully it helps the on track temperatures at the track day and Superlap event on the 25th/26th of this month.

Also an updated engine bay pic for interest. A mess but it works. Would love a pdm/custom loom and shave one day but that can wait.

Duct now made up, hopefully a bit more air through the oil cooler, and cheaper than a replacement wheel arch inner! new fabrication hookup at local shop AVS.

Default '08 JDM Sti - Naki Drag Wars - Class 2 Winner

So went to Manfeild for the weekend for a chrome session track day and Nz Superlap after the first session was back flagged and noticed this was happening, left 20 litres of fuel on the track... Surge tank was leaking out of the weld, only just a month old..

Tried a few different fixes like Knead It and even some super tough araldite glue, but my weekend was over Crack just got bigger and fuel started pouring out.

Yes stock twin scroll headers, never been a restriction up to this point. Another JDM car I know with 700whp also uses the stock headers.
