Default Re: 2008 JDM Spec Spec R STI - Built Motor - Goal 500 whp

Nice man, good luck with the build!

I would recommend

1. Manley Turbo Tuffs rods
2. ARP Age 625 studs
3. ID1300cc injectors
4. ACT 6puck clutch
5. KillerB oil pickup, air pump delete, etc

Hopefully the shop offers a warranty on top of all that

Thanks a lot, been on this site a lot admiring the builds on here, only just got around to making my own journal.

I want to do this properly and avoid another blown motor if possible. So i try and steer towards the quality parts.

Does anyone else here have the HKS SuperTurbo Exhaust, will it be restrictive for a high power application? I have been told I will need a 3.5" Custom Exhaust to make the most power. Comments appreciated. Thanks!
