Default '08 JDM Sti - EJ207 v7 | EFR7670 | 282's | KV8

Quick update, surge tank has been re-welded with double beaded joins. Fuel system is getting checked over this afternoon/tomorrow to try find out why the surge tank pressurised and split, and making the restrictor hole in the main fuel tank larger. Hopefully I get the car back by the weekend '08 JDM Sti - EJ207 v7 | EFR7670 | 282's | Emtron KV8

Update:

Should received my car back today or tomorrow finally. Unfortunately will miss out on the last round of NZ Superlap. Plan to get it a decent check over then do as many track days as possible in preparation for next season.

Surge Tank is fixed, release hole drilled bigger in the fuel tank to help try avoid it pressurising. Will test once I get it back.

Lambda control module and sensor are being replaced, hopefully receive them next week and it works as intended this time.

Will do another update once I get the car back.

Yes! In the game it is 20hp down on the other cars, but I said to myself, I'll win and prove that its better regardless GRC have some insane Subaru's.

Cold air box in the workings, need to re-route an oil cooler line out of the way and then hopefully I get lower intake temps. Current pod filter is a little bit damaged so may swap it out for the biggest K&N one I can get in there. Will get more photos once I get the car back next week.

Side note: ( created a FB page to track my progress in preparation for NZ Superlap this coming season and all other events I compete in. Similar to posts here. )

Now have the car back!

Fuel system tested and working well with no pressure building up in the surge tank.

Cold air box built up for the air intake, with the oil cooler lines rerouted out of the way.

Looking a little tidier

Also got an isolation switch added for battery so I can turn it off if the car is sitting for a while, to stop it draining as it usually did.

Now to test, break and make stronger again. Will try compete in upcoming local car club events in the next month or so for a proper test.

Good job! The isolation switch is a neat idea. Won't it reset your NAV/Radio/Shift light/etc settings though?
