On Friday around 1pm we got a wonderful Phone call from the local dealer letting us know our STi was in. The 1st in the state, and one of the first in US. After several months of waiting it was a wonderful thing to see pulling into the dealer lot

We wasted no time and picked up the car a couple min later. With 7 miles on the odometer the car looked amazing and pictures don’t do it justice. We have big plans in the works, but you will just have to wait and see.

1st Impressions compared to a 2008 STi.
WOW! Subaru listened to its customers. The handling is crisper, more precise and surprisingly sporty. The back end is much more stable and the front end just goes where you point it. Another nice thing is that the stock exhaust is actually noticeable. A quick blip of the throttle and you can hear the all so familiar Subaru Boxer rumble.

VVVEERRRYYYY nice looking!!!!

do you know if Rally Armor v2 for STI 2011 hatch will fit on the 2011 sedan?
or if Ill have to order two sets

1: STI 2010 , for the front

Just got a follow-up email, and looks like they will have a new flap that is sedan specific!

Re: RallySport Direct's 2011 STI Sedan

Sorry about the lack of updates.

The last thing we did was get the car aligned. We are currently in the process of getting the motor broken in so we can start messing with other aspects of the car.

With that being said, we have some goodies on order right now which should be here in the next little bit. Once those are here and the motor is broken in the next round of installs will follow.

Re: RallySport Direct's 2011 STI Sedan

The settings are -4.25 in the front and -3.25 in the rear.
No camber bolts where needed.

On the front we can get another .25 degrees up to 4.5 total if we wanted to.

On the rear we should easily be able to get o -4. However adjustable toe arms would be needed as the stock Toe adjustment is currently maxed out.

Re: RallySport Direct's 2011 STI Sedan

And a little something for you guys who plan on using the Cobb AccessPort on your 2011 STi's.

Cobb is now using the Si drive to increase boost levels from S to S#.
And if you also look at the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2, its minimal. Compared to all the previous turbo Subaru vehicles that saw huge power gains from stage 1 to stage 2. Do to some slight differences in the OEM down pipe design, the need for a aftermarket unit to get huge power gains is not as critical while running the stock turbo.

Re: RallySport Direct's 2011 STI Sedan

From all the testing done so far, the OEM 2011 STi Down pipes are showing to be less of a restriction and better flowing compared to how restrictive the previous models where.

That seems very strange. Different design in downpipe makes the OEM downpipe on the 2011 a little bit better?? But at the same time it is still rated 305 hp?
Correct. Some companies have been know to under-rate cars. Also its hard to say how Subaru tests the motors output and what items are and what ones are not in place in terms of exhaust and intake components.

Just going off the old rule of thumb and saying that AWD cars have a 25% drivetrain loss, this would put the stock output around 340ish at the crank.
