Default MidnightRunner's 2009 OBP STi - A little dirt never hurt

Rolled this beauty off the lot on August 17th with 54 miles on the odometer.
It's my first Subaru, I've been driving Toyota's since I was 14. I've owned 3 Corollas, 2 Celicas, and one Supra. I wanted a car that was built with performance in mind yet still a practical family car. Toyota has the family part down but not performance so it was time to look elsewhere. It was betweeen the Mazdaspeed3, the Evo, and the STi. The minute I laid eyes on the STi, my mind was made up. One test drive and 3 hours later I drove it off the lot.

Current Mods:
1. SPT short throw shifter
2. Debadged
3. Roof Rack w/ 2 bike carriers
4. Recaro booster seat
5. Black UR Rally Armor Mud Flaps with Red logo

Future Mods
1. Cobb AP V2 Stage 1
2. 20% tint all around
3. Aftermarket Fog Light Kit (OEM kit too tame, looking for a more aggressive OEM fit kit)
4. Tail Light Overlays/ Smoked tails (undecided)
5. Sport Grill
6. Lip Spoiler

First night in my garage

First Day

Debadged it Friday before a complete exterior detail. It was a PITA, but I'm pretty pleased with the results.

2 hours and half a bottle of Goo-gone later...

nice looking car! recaro seat is a nice touch.

OT: how do you like the corolla S? i really like the way you have it set up & interested to see where you go with the STi.

Just posted in your original thread, you can probably find one in your price range easily. Go with a bigger dealership.

Thanks man, I did all the work on the Corolla myself. Love my Corolla S, stock w/ 17s it handled like it was on rails (better than my '00 Celica 6spd). After I lowered it and threw on some bolt-ons, it really woke up. It's a great reliable car w/ some unexpected balls. I love the look on someone's face when they realize they've been owned by a Corolla.

I'm really looking forward to modding the STi, so much more potential w/ the turbo and I can go with either a rally or a street look.
