Doh! Did you use Krylon Stained Glass spray paint or the Testors Enamel?

I'm going to give this UV-resistant clear coat a shot. It says it protects against fading:

I had some time last night so I painted the tails. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. I used a bunch of coats of UV resistant clear coat, so I'm hoping it will prevent fading.

Supplies used:
- 1 can of Krylon Stained Glass spray paint
- 1 can of Krylon UV Resistant clear coat
- 1 exacto knife
- painters tape

Tails look good. Hope they hold up to the sun and don't fade.

With the older BBS wheels did you have to use a spacer or they cleared the brembos just fine? Also do you have some close up pics around the calipers. Thanks.

They clear without spacer. It should be the same brake clearance as any '05-'07 STi as I believe the brakes are very similar, if not the same, as previous generation STis. I will see if I can dig up some pics for you.

Edit:

These are the best I could find right now. I can snap some more this coming week.

Some MAIC members (sti robot and RandomRacing on NASIOC) took some pics of my car at autocross last weekend. Thanks guys, they came out really well!

I bought some used tire totes and wheel felts locally. Hopefully these will protect the tires from the sun. They certainly make it really easy to carry wheels/tires around.

Not very exciting, but I was bored and felt like posting something.

The 225/50/17 Michelin Alpin PA3s (winter tires) stack slightly higher than the 245/40/18 stock Dunlop SP600s.
