everything looks good. video sounds very nice. the helmet looks like a good choice, but i cringe thinking about a long highway drive in that seat haha. sounds like you're going to be very happy with it.then are you getting sparco harness bar? seems like the next logical step after a seat. Maybe too extreme for right now tho haha.

the shop pics are cool, too. no shortage of subarus there. that's for sure. enjoy the weekend.

This is the sound that i want when i get my STI upon return to the states. I am not really a big fan of the backfiring (had enough of that on the RX-7) that is why i love yours so much. It just sounds mean/clean/raw all rapped up into a badazz sound. nice ride dude.

Hmm, custom oil cooler? Sounds interesting. Man I would love to land an internship at a Subie shop, such a sweet gig. Car's coming along nicely man.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah we're definitely busy--never mind the 10 odd cars outside.

RX7RIP, you only get the loud BANG backfire when you're really romping on it doing quick shifts. Other than that you just get a nice burble, nothing loud like what all SRT-4's sound like.

As I'm in the only 08 STi @ the shop we'll be using my car as a test bed for goodies when it's a little slower. I'd like to see some of the ideas turned into products we can then turn around and push to the market.

Oh and honestly the seat, although it doesn't look like it has padding or comfort it really has both. When we meet up (and I have it in) you're welcome to try it out, see if you like it. Wil, the guy at the store, was telling me the padding holds up very well and is comfortable to meet regulations b/c you can't be bumping all around in the seat--that leads to f'ed up spines. So I have faith it'll be good. As far as a harness and bar goes, I'm thinking about it. Fun fact: harnesses have a shelf life and will deteriorate in quality due to dust building up in the fabric which causes it to become sharp and start to flay. He had some down there that were from 2004 and was trying to sell me a set for cheap as they only had like 2 years left of active life but I passed as I'm just going to use the regular belt for now. Harness/bar will prob be in the future however.

cool thanks for the input. My RX-7 would really POP! until i fixed the air pump it was all the time when i shifted. Was funny sometimes when backing out of a parking spot it would sound like a .22 going off and you would see the other Marines kinda jump, especially the ones that were already looking at my car lol. Anyways. love the car keep us posted on what your doing!

So I've been sick the past week and am finally recovering. The plans I put up are still good to go, just haven't got the stuff yet.

Been busy working on Area 1320's website (and with my internship there) otherwise. So things are going well. I'll post up pics as things start coming in
