| Spec C Club Feedback Score: 1 reviews | Just got back from my tune with Ray @ TurboTek. Gains across the whole power band with some awesome gains around 5500rpm and 4600rpm. Unfortunately I'm heading out tonight and don't have the time to get my pics/vids up but, on a apparently low reading mustang dyno I got: 287.9 @ 5087 hp 319.1 @ 3628 tq If I remember correctly Ray said that a stock evo got 197hp? Something like that, lol. Anyway I had a great time and it was interesting to see as I had never done a dyno session before. Thanks to Ray for taking his time and not rushing it. The media will be up later tonight/tomorrow maybe. |

| Spec C Club Feedback Score: 1 reviews | Ok here we are... vids will come later when I have time. This is all I could muster before I pass out tonight. I dunno... cobb stage 2 supposedly gives +50hp and +85tq. Check out these gains from the ray-tune! |

| Spec C Club Feedback Score: 1 reviews | So this has nothing to do with my car but who cares? It's still awesome! As I've mentioned in my first entry, I'm a bit of a computer nut. I've had most of the components to revamp my water cooling on my computer for a while but never got around to it. So, I decided to get around to it. Yesterday I disassembled my computer and started taking the measurements to fit the radiator into the inside top of the case in between the 5.25" bays. I blueprinted the radiator basically, then blueprinted the case so I knew what my tolerances were. Then today I taped up the stripped case and got busy! Initially I was lacking some tools (couldn't find them in the mess of a basement that we have) so I made do. I first started practicing some hole drilling to get used to how it would drill in the aluminum. Then I drilled the holes and only got one hole off it's mark which I will adjust tomorrow. After the fan/mounting holes I started using a drill w/ a hole cutting attachment just drilling in random holes in the middle. Then I took a break and did some searching and found the jigsaw which made my life much easier than using the hand jigsaw! Pictures are below but I am not finished. Tomorrow I have to get some gasketing for the edge of the case and radiator. It'll look nice with that on there Then I will be drilling a fill port as I am not using a reservoir for this setup. And finally fixing one of the screw holes which is slightly off.My loop will be: Pump -> Radiator -> GPU -> CPU -> T-connector for fill port -> Pump. I don't think I am going to be water cooling the chipset although I definitely have tons of water blocks for it. I kinda like the stock heatsink setup. The lack of heat in the case should make for cool chipset temps anyway. So... hope you all don't mind venturing into the world of my other hobbie. I will have this operational by Sunday evening or Monday for sure. PS: If you see someone w/ a powertool and a purple hankerchief you better start runnin! |

| Spec C Club Feedback Score: 1 reviews | Note to self: Do not run a watercooling setup without hose clamps! rofl... can you guess what happened? I was running the system w/o the computer on, just the pump working on filling up the system and I am typing something on the laptop when I hear a POP! So I unplug the power supply real fast but the water was already all over the place. Luckily the liquid is non-conductive so nothing should be damaged. I've had something similar happen before. I'm just going to let it dry out thoroughly. I've cleaned up the mess that was visible. I've now put temporary zip ties on as clamps until I can get my metal clamps tomorrow. I'm still pissed this happened... I should've known to not run it w/o proper clamps but... whatever it will be fine. Just gotta wait to fire it up for a few days. Side note: It does look effing AMAZING! Everything came out great and I'm lookign forward to running this system and see what it can do. Last edited by sysfailur; 11-17-2008 at 02:31 AM.. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 | Could you post some pics closer to your Perrin Shorty Antenna? From seeing a couple of shots it looks as if the Antenna is a darker color. |
