Yes that's the Subaru Sport Grille and it comes factory painted from your local Subaru dealer. It was $235.00 and quite a pain to install as you have to take the front bumper skin off ~ which,however, gives you a chance to disconnect the Super-gay DRL's as the connector is right there by the alarm horn disc.

The lip though is not a U.S part , so you get it from either Japanparts.com or Harman motive in Cali usually stocks them. That genuine JDM STI lip on my friends car ended up costing him $486 .00 but, damm, it looks good.

EDIT: Wow ! it's gone up again.. Dollar vs. Yen is the reason, not the vendor, this is before shipping

I was bored so I decided to add a pinstripe. I've seen this done on previous STi's and I borrowed the idea. Right now I'm liking it and I think I will keep it on.

As far as wheels, it is down to either the Advan RS 18x9 +29 or AME FS-01 18x8.5 +48 or 18x9 +31

I have ordered new rims with a red pin stripe and I want to paint around my HID's with red as well.
It's nice to see that the red around the front grill looks good on the 08's IMO.

I used red vinyl 1/4" pinstripe that I got at Advance Auto Parts for $2.00. I removed the stock grill and took it apart so the mesh wouldn't be in the way. It was really easy and it comes in a roll of 40 feet!

Awesome, well I am a definately a fan of the stripe in the grill. I think I will try this out.

As for wheels, I am getting 18x8 MSW Type 16 (Black w/ Red Pin Stripe).
I found them on tirerack.com. I just wanted them so that I had a set for my winter tires, but now I think I might use them for my summer tires instead. They are on order right now, but nothing too special.

Have you considered painting your lights? I think that it would look pretty good, but I want to see someone do it on the 08 before I go ahead and do it myself.

I don't think I could tackle that. I wouldn't want to mess up those expensive headlights!

I like the pinstripe, but I think that if you find one that matches the STI logo´s color (more like a burgandy color), it would look much better.
