My 2008 Impreza STI, Aspen White, Base model

Just getting this started.....

First week break in pic.

My Fav. Road in SoCal, Tuna Canyon....

More impressions details to follow shortly.

Main plans are to setup the car for A Stock Auto-X.

Plans and mods. and insights.

A Stock autoX rules based changes only for this year.

- BIG front bar, not dure who will have one first
- Volk RE30's on the CAR, 18 x 8.5 +52, 16.7 lbs
- Dunlop Direzza Z1's, 255-35-18
- Shorty exhaust replacement pipe at Auto-X events.

Insights:

- Front struts, top strut attachment bolt pattern is different, wider

- Stock Wheel/Tires weight 55.5 lbs together, Oh the irony of the 3 fives

- Factory Front Camber was set to zero, was able to get it to -.8 degrees and zero toe on my own.

and third place me, .3 behind a EVO 9(3 year veteran in an EVO and 07 class winner)

I like those wheels MUCH better than the BBS's.

those wheels look great on the white model.

i love that tuna rd. one way down! i got to drive my friends 400hp sti down it while he drove his s2k. it was an awesome experience!

Nice... I like the Aspen White... glad they brought that back, oh and those wheels are great, agree with whoever about them looking better than the BBS! What is base model though? Is that without the BBS or BBS/Nav options? I've not heard of a base model STI. More pictures... soon please!
