With the headlights for the 08 STI going for close to $800 each + labor to install, protecting them is a good idea! Adding a layer of our clear headlight protection film now can save a lot of money and trouble down the road. Inexpensive insurance!



We use a tough high performance vinyl that is designed to protect the lens first and foremost. They are precision cut with a computer and are made from a durable (20mil / .51mm) high performance translucent film material with an adhesive backing, that you can apply to your lights. Do not confuse these with 'overlays' as most overlays are typically made from 2-3mil vinyls that are designed for signs and provide no real protection to your expensive lights. Our tough film helps protect against everyday road hazards that can damage and destroy your vehicle's very expensive lights, such as gravel, winter road salt/sand, bug stains, and road debris. They have been used for many years to protect the headlights on racing cars in extreme conditions. The material is removable but you can only apply it once after the adhesive has set. They are applied in a manner similar to clear bras, tints, and vinyl stickers & graphics. Granted we are not talking about magic deflector shields and if you hit something big enough, going fast enough you run the risk of putting a hole in your headlight – no matter what you have covering it!

The application is pretty straightforward – we have some DIY Install tutorials on our site here and we will be adding more in the near future! We have a full night Headlight Protection kit test session here We also have a wide variety of installed photos in our various galleries on the site (links are on the top left of the site).

We operate on a mass customization manufacturing to order model. This means that once you place an order on our site it is checked, entered into our production queue and each item is custom manufactured just for you! Under normal circumstances orders place by 2PM CST/CDT are shipped out the same day via USPS Priority or Express Mail. The base rate s/h is the same for all 50 states BTW.

just ordered a set of the foglight protector kits, 2 people i know have had a rock go through their unprotected foglights on their cars in the last 2 weeks and with the rain we have had it's already caused them some issues.

anyway the price is right for these and i'm looking forward to putting them on.

On Friday, October 2 2009 will be conducting a server upgrade. This upgrade will occur at 8:00 PM Pacific Time and will last approximately six hours.. During this upgrade, our store will be inaccessible at times.

On Saturday, October 3, 2009, our credit card payment gateway - authorize.net - will be implementing planned payment gateway updates. Beginning at 10:30 PM Pacific Time, there will be up to a 15 minute period of time in which our credit card processing functionality will be inaccessible for transaction processing. Google Checkout will be available as always though.
