I think they gave me deal on install because they kinda screwed me on the STS. When i ordered car i told them to get the STS and fog lamps as options (port). But they forgot, I didn't make a big deal cause I was just going to have them install at dealer. Well because so many people getting STS installed at port and port installs take priority on parts I waited 3 mos for STS. I think part dept guy told them to give me a break (I saw service dude talking to parts manager before they told me $25).

SO give it a try, hope you get the $25 install from looks of it WAY worth it. Hopefully by you saying 'hey i knew another guy who got his installed for $25' they will do it, screw the dealerships! Good Luck
I'll try that. The car we wanted was supposed to have the STS in it also.

I waaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnttttttttttttt………………… LOL Looks like it can be removed easily. By the picture, the mat would have to be trimmed, unless you could finagle it somehow. Nice!!

Jealous. I wish the hatch version was that clean.

Should be way less than that. I think the under seat sub weighs like 6lbs...I wouldn't think this would weigh more than 15lbs.

My dealer quoted me $240+ for an install. I told them their price was :censored too high for the subwoofer. I really really wish I didn't buy this car from them. I'm going to suggest they give customers a tube of KY with their purchase and leave it in the glove box for service.

And you bought sub from them? what bastards . They told me take 1-2 hrs tops for tech to install and what they pay their techs $50-$60? And you said they screwed you on short throw too? Find a diff dealer if possible.

I wouldn't pay $240 for install even if i was a billionaire out of principle and install myself.

Btw dealer cost on the Sub itself is around $350 I think. What you pay them for yours?

They want $499.99 for the sub. I told them that's too much.
Now I'll have to ask how much to install at a mobile electronics shop I know nothing about.
