the car goes into safe mode when the computer picks up something wrong. i had a hose come off and had the same results. The computer has probably found something wrong with the car...or you didnt tighten the gas cap all the way.

 

Get an accessport and go stage 1. The benefit to that as well is you will also now have a device that can run diagnostics on your car for you, and tell you what error codes you are getting, if any.

have dp, ewg, intake, ebcs, forge bpv and a few other goodies waiting for more miles to go on it.

i was thinking the gas cap, cause that actually happens alot to my customers.

 

The gas cap being loose wont make your traction control light turn on. Sounds like you went into some kind of safe mode. Gas cap will pop check engine and SI drive light/cruise light will be flashing, at least on the 2010's anyways.

I dont think it will be anything major. probably a hose or something came free. i wouldnt worry. Besides it only has 250~ miles...its all covered

 

+1. I was reading about it on NASIOC and it looks like it has something to do with a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor. Yay for warranties!

 

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I found it searching for my issue. I also had a similar issue today. I was stopped at a stop light, and as I started accelerating the abs, trac control, and incline assist lights came on. I pulled into a parking lot and turned the car off and back on and the lights went away and it didn't happen on the way home. I have a 2011 sedan which I picked up yesterday, it has 200 miles on it currently and I have no mods and havent been driving it hard since I'm trying to break it in properly. Anyone have an idea what is going on? 1st full day with her and I'm already having issues!
