i agree with OP, it should look 'stock'
not use a ghetto bracket that comes with every other gauge.

i ordered stri gauges for half price. and my install will look same as their boost gauge option intstall, (actually mine will likely look better)

What the hell is everyone talking about? Look at the scanned catalog - the 'non-SPT' gauge is the goofy looking radio-shack style gauge. The SPT gauge looks EXACTLY like the JDM version that everyone is drooling over except it is in psi rather than bar.

^^ I was wondering the same thing as tshrey. The JDM one is a little nicer (hash marks match a little better), but the picture in the catalog is so poor it's hard to tell how well it matches.

I reserve judgment until I see a nice high-res pic of it installed next to the gauge cluster.

The one downside I see to it is that it only goes to 20 psi - I'm hitting that just on stage 2!

2.0 bar is a whole hell of a lot different than 20 psi. 20 psi is useless for many people on stage 2 or higher.

Agreed, and I think I said that. But the comments that the SPT gauge is ugly comes from people not reading the catalog correctly, thinking that the 'Subaru' gauge is the new SPT gauge.

The problem is both gauges are ugly The JDM one i have is a perfect match, but somehow the SPT one has ruined the look with a non matching scale markings, spaced to just 20psi (and a big ugly red SPT logo). Oh, and most gauges ive seen have the 0 pressure point on the 'west' of the face, not up near 'north'. i think thats what makes it look a bit goofy
All they had to do was change the numbers from kPa to psi, same full scale & layout as the JDM and it would have been perfect
