You've got to go in from the Left front wheel well. Take out the clips that hold the fender liner in and squeeze your arm in there. It's a tight fit, but it's the easiest way to get it done. You'll need a fair amount of patience, and be sure to take your time. The harness is long enough to almost pull the housing out into the wheel well. If I had been more patient, I would've removed the entire liner, but I remember only undoing one or two clips.

Right front (passenger's side) can be done from the engine bay. Remove the airbox, and there's plenty of room for ya.

also weird that the owner's manual lists the bulbs as 3457, but now i'm reading the part # is really 1157. good thing i didn't buy the bulbs yet...

Anybody know if the rear turn signals are 7440 standard or ck type? Wanna replace w/LED from vleds.com but they have 2 versions.

I made an order for the Platinum front 1157 switchbacks and the CF18-04 relay (both backordered) and the Platinum Amber 7440/7443 (standard, not CK) bulbs.

I received the 7440 Ambers and did a test fit on the rear turn signals. I didn't push them in all the way in since they seemed very tight, but they worked electronically as expected. The brightness seemed just as bright as the stock incandescent bulbs, so I think I will be happy by going with the Platinum series and not worrying about the weird modifications and expense of the brighter V3 Tritons. But, I didn't want the 60 or 92 LED fronts since they weren't rated as bright as the Platinums. If you wait a month or so until I get mine, I'll post comparison photos.

Ok standard it is, thx! I take it you need to remove the whole assembly to get access to the rear turn signal bulbs?

Hey guys so my rear passenger side brake light went out... Can i fix this with a bulb? Or do I need to get a new tail light? I'm hoping it's just a bulb, thanks.
