We joke around alot though so it doesn't bother me. And telling people it's Cherry Blossom Red just get's me looks followed by "Well, it still looks alot like pink to me." |

So nowadays the color pink in Japan is considered manly and powerful because of the Samurai. Thats probly why STi is pink aka 'cherry blossom red' -cameron |

| Junior STI Driver | pink looks rad man...its what gives this car its cliche. Its not big, so it aint a problem. One of the things I love about the STI's is simply the pink slanted word (sti). What do other cars have? the EVO has the red MR...psh, so does the R/S [on type-S/R] on the crappy civics/rsx. The Mustang GTs just has the GT thing...pretty unoriginal and common like mustangs. The GTO has that logo which is unique, but no-one cares about. I mean...most of the other cars just have the letters that symbolize what model they are but nothing characteristic about it...just letters/numbers. The STi is everything about uniqueness and style. The STi rocks the bronze wheels, the wings, the scoop and the pink bits better than anybody...all from factory...why would a car come like that from the factory...because its rally history baby. If someone gives you sh1t about it, then they are worth a smack/not listening to, because they are stupid enough to not know why you have it & what it means...unless of course, its somebody knowledgeble purposely messing with ya...in that case, go to the Offtopic section and click on my "whats your comeback?" thread .Very little cars hold a [large] traditional value to them (most of them are exotics), much less a few that have kept it. A mustang has a traditional value, but its a whore in the market, so it loses its cliche/value...same with others. It'll all about tradition, It's all about the pink. FTW.
