| Lurker | Hi I checked everything and costs I live in Calgary Alberta so I think the importing would the the best as I would save 13gs on a new STI.. But I am also thinking should I buy one used? and save more? or are used sti's damaged goods? Where could I go to find one? I already contacted the dealer in montana to price me out a new STI. THanks! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. Last edited by venomman; 05-18-2007 at 11:31 AM. |

It's a load of paper work... but if you do your homework, it's not that big of a deal at all. After everything, I paid CAN $42k... hell of a lot better than $55,600 that I got quoted. You might have better luck in Montana than I did, but the dealers' STI's were way overpriced. I made a good deal with Eastside Subaru just outside of Seattle. Joe @ Carter Subaru will give you a STI for invoice as well... something to keep in mind. Good luck, and check out those other two forums - all your questions will be answered there. |

The conversion rate is not that bad anymore so it must be that your government taxes the hell out of vehicle sales, which makes sense given what I know about your abusive income tax rates.
