It felt faster recently, after filling up the tank with 93... I wonder if the dealer put in the cheapy fuel and it was pulling timing?!?

His car has SLP lid, K&N filter, Hurst shifter, but that's about it.

I'm trying not to spend much money right now, as I just spent quite a bit buying the car, so I'll think about some mods worth the money.

Is it normal to smell a slight clutch smell when taking off slightly hard and slipping the clutch?

Am I about to replace my clutch? Tell me this is normal..

Yeah, a little smell is normal when you launch. Just don't dump it or make launching at every light a habit.

K, I guess coming from a 1.8T, which would just bog down if the clutch had a hard time grabbing, and going to a car with more torque, awd, and a 2.5L that will just burn up the clutch is going to take a bit of getting used to.

I'm also not hitting .1 Megapascals, could this have some effect on why I wasn't able to hang with the Z28?

The 04 STI should run ~14.5psi (.1MPa) correct?

Yep... .1, or 14.507 psi. Could be not enough boost, or could be a gaugee not reading properly? My 07 hits .1 exactly (at least according to the gauge)

It's probably just the guage. They're not all too accurate.

I'm hitting .08MPa.. The gauge is not off when the motor is off, I'll check for boost leaks...
