| Amateur STI Driver | Hi All, I will be buying a 2007 STi withing couple of weeks, my coworker bought one and took me for a ride, and my neck still hurts, what a beast, and that boxer rumble sound is amazing. Anyway, i was wondering if you guys can tell me the options, accessories i should get when buying one. I figured that short throw shifter and boost guage should be normal, anything else i should think about? Thanks. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

Of course by getting it through the factory you can amortize it over the life of the loan, but, if you are getting an inferior product... |

| Professional STI Driver | Floor mats. I wish I could have bought STi mats when I got mine. Short shifter if you like it. Alarm upgrade if your not going to do aftermarket, and same for wheel locks. I got a stripper back when. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Wheels locks short throw shifter and IMO need a boost gauge for gas mileage purposes and make sure the car is running properly. Stay out of boost = better gas mileage.. How are you supposed to tell when you are in boost without a gauge? |

Staying out of boost isn't tough especially when you're cruising. Also, just short shift at 3K rpm. The OEM boost gauge is an eyesore. Get the Defi Ambers, at least it will match your dash and be much easier to read. | |
