my '06 has the same glove box rattle, it's more of a squeak actually. Seems like the left top corner of the door has a gap, but the other side doesn't. I've been meaning to try to adjust the latch so the door shuts tighter.

i solved the glove compartment rattle by sticking couple thin manuals behind the compartment so it'll have some resistence when i shut the lid. for the dash rattle, i took out the window defroster panel and greased up couple of those clips. I also took out the clock pod and greased them up but also put a piece of cardboard between the clock unit and the panel itself.

So who has fixed this particular rattle? Someone mentioned foam tape, if this is what you fixed, where did you apply the tape? I assume you left the latch assembly alone but just put it in the corners somewhere?
Someone else mentioned this on here and it worked for me, but I just sandwiched my owner's manual behind the back of the glovebox and that worked great. If you open the glovebox you'll see that all the way in the back there's a space where you can fit something. Put the owner's manual back there and push it shut. No more rattle, plus I get more room in the glovebox.
