Subarus in Vermont!

Holy moly, I am currently in VT on a 3 day ski/snowboard trip and I couldn't help but notice that there are a TON of Subies here. Seriously speaking, it seems like about 25% of the cars I see are Subarus! Old and new, they are rampant in Vermont! I kept on pointing them out to my wife, and it got to the point where I was annoying her.

yup same in nh too and maine we can get hammered with snow and ice and why not they are cheaper than a full size p/u and no guzzler tax either

I think it's mandatory for every family to own at least one subaru in VT and NH.

Actually, you'll find a very high Subaru count in any northerly state (except maybe MI).

Its not an official requirement, but its growing as an unofficial one.
